Secure your seat and join us for Midnight Mahj x Heart and Home—an evening of mahjong, shopping, and connection at Heart and Home’s new Concord Pike location in Wilmington, Delaware!

A beloved women-owned Delaware boutique since 1991, Heart and Home is known for its thoughtfully curated selection of apparel, jewelry, accessories, and gifts—and for creating a fun, welcoming shopping experience. We’re bringing that same spirit to the mahjong table for an evening designed to gather, connect, and play.

Designed for all levels of experience, this event offers a welcoming space to learn, practice, and play mahjong in a relaxed and social setting. Whether you're brand new to the tiles or a seasoned player looking for an engaging night out, there’s a seat at the table for you.

Guests are invited to arrive at 6:30 PM to mingle, browse Heart and Home’s latest apparel, jewelry, accessories, and gifts, and settle in before gameplay begins. Mahjong instruction and play will begin promptly at 7:00 PM.

The evening features a thoughtful blend of:

• Mahj 101 Lesson tables for beginners and those building confidence (beginners or advanced beginners with little to no prior lesson or mahjong experience; full lesson)

• Guided Play tables with hands-on support and strategy tips (advanced beginners/intermediate players with prior lesson or mahjong experience; assisted play)

• Open Play tables for experienced players ready to dive right in (intermediate to expert players who can play independently) (must bring own 2026 National Mah Jongg League rule card)

More than just a night of mahjong, this gathering is designed for connection. Bring your friends or come solo and meet new ones along the way. Expect lively tables, shared laughs, a little shopping, and a warm, social atmosphere that makes for the perfect girls’ night out.

Light refreshments will be available.

**By registering, attendees acknowledge that they have selected the table option appropriate for their current mahjong skill level. Midnight Mahj reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify registrations or reassign seating if an attendee's experience level does not align with the selected table type and may impact gameplay or instruction for others.

**Kindly note that mahjong is ideally played in groups of four, and tables will be arranged accordingly. If you would like to request to sit with friends, please provide the names of attendees you wish to be seated near at checkout. Every effort will be made to accommodate these requests, but we cannot guarantee them. Part of the fun of Midnight Mahj is socializing and getting to know new people, and our open events are designed to create a welcoming, community-focused experience. Same ticket types purchased in quantities of 4 (a whole table) will be seated together unless otherwise requested.

**For Mahj 101 or Guided Play Lessons: Midnight Mahj reserves the right to arrange tables at its discretion. In the event that total tickets sold for Mahj 101 or Guided Play tables are not an even multiple of four, some guests may be seated two per playing position, rotated between hands, or placed at tables with fewer than four players in order to best accommodate attendance and create an enjoyable experience for all attendees. In these instances, the integrity, pacing, and quality of gameplay and instruction will remain a top priority and will not be compromised.

**For Open Play: Open Play tables are ideally arranged in groups of four players; however, in the event that Open Play tickets are not sold in even multiples of four, tables may be organized with fewer than four players in order to best accommodate attendance. In these instances, gameplay should proceed according to the standard rules and variations associated with 2- or 3-player American mahjong. Open Play players are expected to bring their own 2026 National Mah Jongg League rule card for personal use.

**Please note that Midnight Mahj is not responsible for attendee tardiness, early departures, or no-shows that may impact table counts or player arrangements during the event. To best accommodate attendance and maintain gameplay flow, Midnight Mahj reserves the right to rearrange tables or adjust seating assignments at any time throughout the event as needed.
