Photo and Media Release Policy

Midnight Mahj creates events that are social, celebratory, and community-focused. Photography and video are often captured to document and share these experiences.

By attending any Midnight Mahj event, you acknowledge and agree to the following:

Consent to Photography and Videography

You grant Midnight Mahj and its owners, representatives, partners, and collaborators permission to photograph, film, and record you during events.

This may include your:

  • Image

  • Likeness

  • Voice

  • Appearance

in photographs, videos, or other recordings.

Use of Media

You grant Midnight Mahj the unrestricted, perpetual right to use, reproduce, publish, and distribute this media for lawful purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Social media

  • Website content

  • Marketing and advertising

  • Promotional materials

  • Editorial and brand content

This use may occur without further notice or approval.

No Compensation

You understand and agree that:

  • You will not receive compensation for the use of these images or recordings

  • You waive any right to inspect or approve the final media

Release of Liability

You release and discharge Midnight Mahj and its partners, collaborators, venues, and representatives from any claims related to the use of photographs, video, or recordings, including claims related to:

  • Privacy

  • Publicity

  • Emotional distress

Partner and Collaborator Use

You acknowledge that photographs and videos may also be shared with and used by:

  • Event co-hosts

  • Partner venues

  • Collaborating businesses

for their own marketing and promotional purposes.

Their use of such media is governed by their own policies.

Opt-Out Procedure

Public Midnight Mahj-Hosted Events

Photography and videography may be captured during public Midnight Mahj-hosted events for marketing, promotional, editorial, and community-building purposes.

Guests who prefer not to be photographed or recorded must notify Midnight Mahj in writing prior to the event at joinourtable@midnightmahj.com.

Midnight Mahj will make reasonable efforts to accommodate such requests; however, due to the nature of public events, we cannot guarantee that attendees will not appear incidentally in candid, background, group, crowd, or venue-wide photographs or video recordings.

Private Events

Photography and videography may also be captured during private events hosted by Midnight Mahj and used in accordance with this Photo and Media Release Policy.

Private event hosts may opt out of photography and videography conducted by Midnight Mahj by submitting a written request prior to the event and receiving written confirmation from Midnight Mahj at joinourtable@midnightmahj.com.

Upon confirmation of a valid opt-out request, Midnight Mahj will agree to not to photograph or record the private event. However, Midnight Mahj is not responsible for photographs, videos, or recordings taken by guests, venue staff, third-party vendors, or other attendees.

Opt-out requests apply only to the specific private event identified in the request.

Existing Media

Any photographs, videos, or recordings captured prior to the receipt and confirmation of an opt-out request may continue to be used in accordance with this policy unless otherwise agreed to in writing by Midnight Mahj. If you prefer not to be photographed or recorded, please notify us in writing prior to the event at: joinourtable@midnightmahj.com. While we will make reasonable efforts to accommodate requests, we cannot guarantee that you will not appear incidentally in group or candid images.
