Events & Lessons Booking Agreement

This Agreement supplements the Midnight Mahj Terms & Conditions.
Private Events & Private Lessons Booking Agreement
This Booking Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between Midnight Mahj, LLC (“Provider”) and the client completing the booking (“Client”). By completing a booking, the Client agrees to the terms below.
1. Private Event & Private Lesson Booking Terms
Reservation & Deposit
A non-refundable deposit of $100 is required at the time of booking to secure the reservation.
Thirty percent (30%) of the total fee is due no later than 21 days before the event or lesson date. If the booking is made within 21 days of the event, this payment is due at the time of booking.
The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event or lesson date.
Cancellation and Rescheduling Policy
Cancellations and rescheduling are governed by our Refund & Returns Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
Alcohol & Safety
Provider does not provide any alcohol.
If alcohol is available or consumed, Participants are responsible for safe, legal consumption and transportation.
Clients and attendees are solely responsible for transportation to and from the event and for compliance with all applicable laws.
Provider assumes no responsibility for alcohol-related incidents.
Food, Drinks & Equipment
Provider does not supply food or drinks but may offer recommendations upon request.
Provider will supply materials and equipment as specifically agreed upon during the booking process.
Clients must handle all mahjong tiles, racks, and equipment with care.
Hand sanitizer may not be used while handling tiles, as certain products may damage the tiles.
Any breakage, damage, or misuse will be the responsibility of the Client, who agrees to cover replacement costs.
No Monetary Exchange
No money will be exchanged or awarded for winning games.
2. Liability & Conduct
Liability
Provider is not responsible for personal injury, property damage, or loss during events or lessons.
Clients and attendees assume full responsibility for their own safety, conduct, and transportation.
Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Provider for any claims or causes of action alleged or asserted by any attendees at an event.
Conduct
Provider reserves the right to remove any participant whose behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or in violation of this Agreement, without refund.
3. Miscellaneous
Governing Law
This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Delaware.
Entire Agreement
This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior discussions or agreements.
4. Image & Media Release
To avoid conflicting versions, consider language such as: Participation in Events is subject to our Photo & Media Release Policy, which is incorporated by reference.
2. Public / Open Play Event Booking Agreement
This Booking Agreement (“Agreement”) is made between Midnight Mahj, LLC (“Provider”) and the client completing the booking (“Client”). By completing a booking, the Client agrees to the terms below.
1. Public / Open Play Event Terms
Payment & Registration
Full payment is due at the time the reservation is made
A reservation is not confirmed until payment is received.
Payments are non-refundable.
No-Cancellation / Transfers
Public and open play events cannot be canceled or refunded.
A Participant may transfer their reservation only with Provider’s prior written approval, requested at least 48 hours in advance.
Attendance & Punctuality
Participants are expected to arrive on time. Late arrivals may miss instruction or gameplay without refund.
Alcohol & Safety
Provider does not provide any alcohol.
If alcohol is available or consumed, Participants are responsible for safe, legal consumption and transportation.
Clients and attendees are solely responsible for transportation to and from the event and for compliance with all applicable laws.
Provider assumes no responsibility for alcohol-related incidents.
Food, Drinks & Equipment
Provider does not supply food or drinks but may offer recommendations, unless otherwise stated in event description.
Provider will supply all mahjong equipment for gameplay.
Participants must handle all tiles, racks, and equipment with care.
Hand sanitizer may not be used while handling tiles, as certain products may damage the tiles.
Any damage or loss caused by a Participant may result in replacement charges.
No Monetary Exchange
No money will be exchanged or awarded for winning games.
